This Month's Program
The Adventures and Misadventures of advising foreign forces in lands far away.

Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) and Marine Raiders lessons learned from real world experiences in remote regions.  “Captain Brian” at work; and his Office “Captain Brian” is the Assistant Operations Officer of the 1st Marine Raider Support Battalion, MARSOC at Camp Pendleton, CA.

Our Speaker has served over 16 years in the Marine Corps with the majority of his experiences in the reconnaissance and special operations communities - with the Marine Raiders of Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC). Over these years he has deployed multiple times to conflict zones including Iraq, Afghanistan, Jordan, and throughout South East Asia. “Captain Brian,” as he is known to his Arab counterparts, has worked the full spectrum of Special Operations from leading small teams of commandos scaling the sides of tanker ships in the middle of the ocean, to training and advising foreign irregular forces in rural villages, to wearing business suits and advising an Ambassador and the US Country team on Counter Terrorism and Counter Insurgency issues.

He is a veteran of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM, OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM, and OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE, as well as numerous other initiatives across the globe.

Come early to meet and welcome the Captain and enjoy his action-packed presentation.
